START-UP, the Korean drama, lives up to its hype.
For Netflix suggestions, I don’t usually gravitate towards K-drama. I ideally lean on watching documentaries, thinking that I could learn so much more from them than any other genre. But well, this Korean drama surprised me.
The show personally resonates with my combined liking for:
- Shark Tank (a reality tv show about business pitching),
- my growing fascination of the Tech Industry, and
- appreciation for character development as seen in each of the profile of Dal-mi, Dosan and Ji Pyeong.
Other occasional mainstays like – a complex love story, family-oriented plot, and *cough* tall good-looking oppa’s make the show all the more interesting and intriguing to watch.
